Important Guidelines:
Please note
that group discussion meetings will be conducted via a video conferencing
platform and NOT face-to-face.
- Students are required to conduct the group
discussion meetings via a video conferencing platform (e.g. Skype, Zoom,
Google Meet, WhatsApp, FaceTime etc.).
o
Decide on the day, date and time of the
meeting. Send your meeting invitation.
o
Join the meeting using your full names as stated
in the SMP. (e.g. Names such as Iphone, Huawei etc. and nicknames are not
acceptable).
o
Turn on your face cam, and you must be visible
throughout the meeting as proof of attendance. Refer to your instructors if you
do not have the ability to do so.
- The virtual group discussion meetings must be
video recorded (screen recording) and uploaded onto YouTube. Submit the
video link via Edmodo using the Submission
Form.
- Please refer to the Timeline below for
tasks that need to be done. Take note that some changes may have been made
to the original tasks.

Reflect previous discussions and choose the BEST
song (out of the four songs selected in previous discussion sessions) that
reflects the issue it portrays. ·

Notes:
EDMODO
Ø All students must join their respective Edmodo group.
LENGTH OF VIDEO
Ø Group Discussion Video: 10-12 minutes
Ensure the quality of the video and audio is not compromised by
external factors such as poor lighting and background noise
SUBMISSION
GROUP DISCUSSION VIDEO (GDV) & GROUP REFLECTION
VIDEO (GRV)
Group members should take turns to:
- upload the group’s weekly discussion
video onto YouTube,
- copy the link,
- fill in the Submission Form, and
- turn it in via Edmodo.
Please take note that only ONE turn in is
required from each group per week.
ASSESSMENTS
Ø Students who miss any group discussion
sessions must provide an MC or any other valid official letters to the Group
Instructor via Edmodo/ email to avoid from receiving a zero (0) for attendance.
Ø All late submissions will be awarded with a
zero (0) unless a valid reason / proof is given.
Ø Students who are NOT FEATURED or do not
participate in the group discussion video will not be awarded with any marks
for Attendance and Task Completion.
Ø Students will not be awarded with any mark for
Task Completion if the tasks are completed not according to the instructions
given. Students will only receive marks for Attendance.
